What does your accreditation mean?
Accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) acknowledges a dentist’s excellence in cosmetic dentistry. The AACD consists of seven thousand members worldwide, with two hundred fifty of the members having accredited status. In Texas, only seventeen dentists, including Dr. Wright, are accredited by the AACD.
To achieve accreditation, a dentist undergoes a stringent evaluation consisting of an oral examination, a written examination, and critiques of five of the dentist’s smile restoration cases. Accreditation also requires extensive training and education in cosmetic dentistry.
